fastasfsave@mac:~$
⌘-click any image.it's saved.full size.
A tiny Mac app that saves pictures from the internet straight into your folder — the real, full-size version, not the blurry preview.

- Hold ⌘ and click any picture in Chrome.
- Your cursor glows green. That means it's saved.
- It's in your folder — full size, not the preview.
- Hold ⌘ and right-click a picture in Finder or Photos.
- Green glow = copied into your folder.
- Picked a bunch? Select them and press ⌃⌥S.
- Click the jester in your menu bar → moodboard --create.
- Pick a layout and size: masonry, grid or collage.
- You get a PNG + a board you can drag around.

$ setup --takes 2 minutes
- 01Download the file and open it. If your Mac says “Not Opened”, see heads up — it's one click in Settings.[ download ]
- 02Drag fastasfsave into Applications, then open it from there.
- 03Follow the setup screen. It walks you through: pick a folder → add the Chrome extension → grant permissions.
- 04Look for the jester in your menu bar. That's it — go ⌘-click something.
$ heads up --read this once
- [!]The app must be running. No jester in the menu bar = nothing saves. Turn on open at login in setup so you never think about it.
- [!]Your Mac will say “Not Opened — Apple could not verify…” That's normal for small free apps. Click Done, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You do this once for the download, once for the app — then never again.
- [!]Say yes to the permission pop-ups. They're what let ⌘ + right-click work in Finder and Photos. Missed one? Click the jester → [setup].
- [!]Can't see the jester? Apps like Bartender or Ice hide new icons — set fastasfsave to “Shown.” Or just open the app again and the menu pops up.
- [!]Normal ⌘-click still works. On links it opens a new tab like always. Only pictures get saved.

$ faq
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no subscription.
Does it work on Windows or Safari?
No — it's a Mac app (macOS 14 Sonoma or newer, Apple Silicon or Intel) that works with Google Chrome. Brave, Arc and Edge usually work too.
Why does Chrome say the extension can “read and change data on all websites”?
It has to see the picture you ⌘-click, on whatever site you're on. It only does something when you ⌘-click a picture, and it only talks to the fastasfsave app on your own Mac.
Does it really save the full-size image?
On Pinterest, Google Images, Midjourney and Higgsfield it grabs the original upload, not the small preview. If a site blocks that, it saves the biggest version it can get.
I saved the same picture twice — what happens?
Nothing gets duplicated. Your cursor glows amber to tell you it's already in the folder.
Where do mood boards go?
Into a Moodboards folder inside your current folder. You get a PNG plus an interactive board that opens in your browser.
Oops, I saved something by accident.
Click the jester → undo --last. It goes to the Trash.
